Adverb
A word which gives more information about when, how, where, or in what circumstances something happens.

Adjective
A word which tells us more about a person or thing.
For instance: brave, red, this
Preposition
A preposition relates one word to another in a sentence.
For instance: about, above, until.
Conjunction
A word such as ‘and’ that links two clauses, phrases or words.
For instance: She bought apples, bananas and mangoes.
Interjection
A word which expresses strong feelings and emotions.
For instance: alas, oh, ah.
